Stacked up

Apologies for the blogging drought. This is all that I have to show for it right now...fifty-five textblocks and 110 cover boards for a set of books that need to be finished in the next couple weeks...

Hoping to wrap up this project soon so I can move onto even more fun things!

Hi Rhonda,
I guess this is how I contact you. Yes, by all means you can use my marbled paper in your blog, I will feel honored. I want to thank you as well for the beautiful peacock feather marbled paper you sent to me in this exchange. It is one of my favorite patterns.

Thank you, Dolores!

I'm officially jealous. I would give just about anything to have the means and time to make more than 1 book every couple of months.

*sigh*

Maybe I'll stick with tatting and bobbin lace.

It doesn't seem to matter how much time I have for bookbinding, I always wish I had more time!

Hi Rhonda, I appreciate your talent and self-motivation. I am loving book-binding. After 12 months (maybe less) of having to resort to an S.O.S. message every time I get to the actual binding (coptic), I have finally realised I've done it differently each time, and they still look wonderul. I've stopped thinking I have to do it in any particular way. Most people I give books to don't know it was done the right or wrong way, they just appreciate a hand made gift! Phew, that's taken the pressure off.
Also - can you help me find ruled pages for notebooks? I can't seem to find them easily.
Cheers, Regina

Regina, I don't know where to find ruled paper for bookbinding. I have never seen it. Some people print their own....
