What to do during Earth Hour?
Our household participated in Earth Hour today by turning off all the lights, computers, and TVs between 8:30 and 9:30pm. What to do, when you would rather be bookbinding? I planned ahead, made sure that my solar-powered book light was charged, and spent the hour reading some Szirmai.

I am reading Zsirmai as well...not during Earth Hour but still.
Your blog is very interesting.
We had our candles lit and did some drawing and card games - I didn't trust my young boys with candles and books. I could just imagine them trying to get too close to read and then knocking a candle over and disaster ensuing! We started early (at 7:30) then got the boys to bed!
It seemed so quiet, with no buzzing in the house; even the neighbourhood seemed quieter than usual.
