Well, if you are the sort of person who saves boxes because you think they look really cool... then you could make them into journals...or even better, send me the boxes and I'll do it for you! Just recently, I made this batch of books for a friend who has a tendancy to accumulate and save boxes. Definitely some fun things going on here. You followin' me camera guy?

And another batch made from boxes that I had accumulated:

And really, if you have a box that you think I should convert into a book, let me know! Go to
my Artfire shop and contact me that way. I've never met a box that I couldn't convert into a book!

These are brilliant and so neat.
Back again, just had a closer look as I love how you have done the spine and the pages in the Dora book are a perfect match...great work.
Really great books! How do you reinforce the cardboard? I imagine their pretty flimsy by themselves.
thanks Merry!
Elspeth, it depends on the box. Some of these are actually corrugated cardboard so no reinforcing is needed. When I have boxes made with the thinner cardboard, I try to make the books small and I always have a double thickness of cardboard on the spine. Sometimes I'll add a layer on the inside covers as well if the cardboard is really light.
Ah, thanks, I was wondering about that! They're really nifty books. :)
another great idea - great books - I really like your great work. Monica
i did the same; i love boxes who became journals!
