Other people's junk

In addition to all of my own junk, my Dad recenly presented me with a whole new batch of junk. What am I doing with all this?

I had everything spread out here trying to get it all cleaned up to make it suitable for more steamjunk, er, I mean, steampunk books, of course. As you can see, I've got quite a supply of junk...considering each book uses only a couple odds and ends, this stuff will keep me going for a while. Here are a few new ones - I particularly like the one with the old telephone piece on the front.

Lucky you! I love the look of all that "junk" - it really depends on the eye of the beholder, doesn't it? The books you are making with it are imaginative and very collectible I think, and I'm sure they are fun to make.

You have a great eye for taking a single piece of hardware and integrating it into the structure of your books! I look forward to seeing more!

Your dad must really think a lot about your work to think of you when he sees stuff you might use. I bet something in that pile sparks your imagination.

One mans junk is another mans gold.

What an awesome pile of gold you have there. Looks like a perfect stash for 'altering' alcohol inks, acrylic inks and the like. Polish, sand and paint.

Congratulations on a great stash and love what you are doing with it so far.

Hugs

Billie

Very excellent. I know I asked this in email somewhere, but how on earth did you get the bits and pieces to stay on the covers?
