Tonight's papers

I just spent the evening doing some marbling. I didn't really get much done since I discovered some of the paper I had prepared for marbling was unsuitable and I wasted several sheets. It is sad when a marble pattern runs right off the paper! But I was able to save a few from disaster...so here we are, results of my first marbling session of 2009...need more practice, need more room, need a marbling studio separate from bookbinding studio, need better paper, need someone to clean up after me, etc etc etc

I love the yellow one in the center. It has so much depth. One could get lost in it...

That third one is really fabulous - I love the combination of colors.

OHH WOW these are fantastic. I really love the last one. But I'd never be able to use it, I'd frame it and put it on the wall.

Beautiful work, well worth all the hard work

Hugs and admiration for another skill I do not posses but would love to learn one day

thanks Celine!

Billie, it is true, it can be hard to actually use the papers. But it seems to be getting easier. Because I have so many and I know I can make more!
